A storm finally erupts and goes severe near Lincoln. I move to intercept down hwy 81 from the north, and prepare for hail as I break through the core, but the storm oddly ‘evaporates’ and is no longer severe. |

The ‘atomic bomb’ supercell approximately centered between Mulvane and Douglas, KS SE of Wichita. At the time this shot was taken I was in extreme southern Wichita on hwy 15 just north of Derby. |
