Awaiting storms to break out in northern Kansas I photo this beautiful wheatfield under a blue sky near Beloit

A storm finally erupts and goes severe near Lincoln. I move to intercept down hwy 81 from the north, and prepare for hail as I break through the core, but the storm oddly ‘evaporates’ and is no longer severe.

A shot of the tornadic supercell just SSE of Wichita taken as I head south down I135 from 5 or 10 miles north of Wichita.

The ‘atomic bomb’ supercell approximately centered between Mulvane and Douglas, KS SE of Wichita. At the time this shot was taken I was in extreme southern Wichita on hwy 15 just north of Derby.

Possible Night Tornado a few miles ENE of Moline, KS taken from hwy 160 a mile or so west of Moline.
